Toonami: Naruto -Talkback (NO FANSUB SPOILERS!!!)

Here's where we can talk and jam about the American airing of the show. Toonami had a big hand in it as did Viz who made Inuyasha big, so here's for hoping for greatness.

Since it's being done by Viz and they've done a good job with both Zatch Bell and Inuyasha, there's no reason to expect a bad dub.

I hate the idea of it being licensed and available publicily for the American audience but I can't really say I give a crap.

What time's it on for us Pacific folks... It's always interesting to hear dubs (no matter how awful they may be)

well, i for one remain optimistic to this point. i dont know what to think about the cast (since so many rumors flew back and forth), but i'm sure it'll be decent. we'll likely see the usual toonami blood reduction and all of that, but as long the voices are well suited and we don't run into another situation with the opening like we had with one piece, i may become a repeat viewer. of course, i've already got three years worth of shonen jump manga to know what's gonna happen, so we'll see. yes, see we shall...

Im surprised on how smooth the voice overs are. Pretty sweet, Im so glad to hear that they're using the original music. Here's a clip of Naruto, airing very soon on Toonami....

You don't know what they've edited on Konjiki no Gash Bell!! so you're clueless. When they do edits in Naruto you'll be singing a different tune since you are actually familiar with it.

It sounds like an English version of his original voice actually.

And the dub is...good...really good.
