Oh man...the Yu Gi Oh manga in the beginning is way different than where the US starts off for the anime. Hell, in japan, the anime is alot better. Bigger bust sizes for the chicks, stuff is uncensored...it's nice...

Those are the HK subs. Bad ones at that. Good if you're desperate.

Anyway, I am a rep from Janime.net. (Google it, awesome site.) GX is a really fun romp in the park. I really enjoy it. If you want to know where to get some episodes, I can show you. If you want them subbed, you are in luck, I am trying to sub 1-13, so check back

I did enjoy the card battling in Duel Masters and find the idea fun. Looking past the jacked mess of the 4Kids Dub of Yu Gi Oh, it looks like it might actually be good, so sometime down the line I wouldn't mind checking out GX, but right now I got too much stuff to watch.

TZ's got a great thread concerning the Naruto dub.

I never liked GX, it took way too long for an actual enemy to show up. The plot went nowhere the first 20 something episodes.

There pretty much is no plot, but if there was, I wouldn't like it as much as I do.

Unless we get some uncut DVDs with subs. I'm done with "Naruto". Admittedly the dub was better than "One-Piece" but Naruto's voice is too damn annoying and just distracts me too much to be able to enjoy anything else in the show.

It's Viz... you'll definately be getting uncut subbed DVD's. I highly recommend giving the show a few more chances. It hasn't even begun to show its true potential.



I think they went with the raspy Naruto voice, cuz that's what he sounds like in the Japanese version and if they didn't, fans would no doubt go, "He sounds nothing like Naruto!" Now that they have gone with the raspy voice people can say, "I don't really like the dry and raspy voice.... but he does sound like Naruto at least."

These are only the first few episodes. Given more the voice actress'll only get better and more used to the voice.

No thanks. I'll give it another chance when the DVDs come out but I'm done with the version on Cartoon Network. I've read the manga for years so I already know full well what characters and stories I like. That only compounds the irratation of that damn voice. Because this is a show, I already know I would like very much but that one aspect sours the entire experience for me.
