Tokusatsu Panel at Connecticon

So apparently, I'm running a Tokusatsu panel at this year's Connecticon. Having never run such a panel, um... I need ideas. I thought it might be cool to show some clips of Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Sentai but that's pretty much all I could come up with. Thoughts? Other ideas?

make a powerpoint explaining why the tokusatsu industry needs to be thought up as something more then power rangers. complete detail on each franchize and a slideshow of wallpapers.

How long do you have to do it? You could probably start with a five minute rundown of the three major henshin hero franchise (Ultraman, Sentai(do the usual "PR is adapted from Sentai" thing) and Kamen Rider) with clips for each franchise. Then do something about the recent "other" toku, star gods, Lion Maru G, Ryukendo, etc. And if you have time, maybe show the first episode of Den-O and/or Gekiranger or Kabuto and Boukenger to show off the anniversary series.

I have a 2 hour Toku panel at JACON next Sunday that I'm hosting along with Ryo`Shin. I think I'm gonna go over the top three, show clips, have a round table discussion, and if we have time, show an episode or two. I think Ryou gives basically the best way to do one. Don't talk too much, from my experience, keep them interested with a flood of visually appealing clips.

You're a podcaster and video reviewer... think you can hook up some video or recording of your panel?

Don't forget to make your own thread so people know about it!
