Toei tired of Disney?

But here is the proplem,Disney is a billion dollar company and ADV films,Media blaster,4kids, Adness Entertainment is million or thousand dollar company's,if they did PR I think the series would only last 27 episode or less,I don,t know much these company's makes but it mite be the case,but who knows maybe they have much to make 40 episodes,and the good news they well finally move the production back to The U.S or maybe Canada,as well more character development.

I'm sure they can afford it if they just dub or sub it. Personally, I wouldn't mind a change in Power Ranger's management. Disny hasn't been doing as good since SPD (sorry to those who like those series).

I really wouldn't want to have a dub/ sub release... Because for disney to do that it would most likely be a dub and severely edited and cut in content (blood/ etc.)... Not to mention regional limitations >_< (would more than likely mean that TVN wouldn't be able to distribute the new stuff, so it's messed up if they don't release it outside the US And they wouldn't air old school sentai.

Disapointed with Disney? Maybe. Their first two attempts weren't that bad; and at least they never use rangers that change gender when they morph, like Saban did up until they stopped making it.

the only reasons Disney survived after Cartoons couldn't be bankable anymore was because of PIXAR and PIRATES bringing out the $$$$. National Treasure series (there will be part 3 due to it making $$$) help boost Disney too. Now that Pirates is done for the moment, they are looking to cash in on the Prince of Persia series which I hope Bruckheimer will not F it up...


We need more Anime movies like Appleseed/GITS:Innocence/Wonderful Days style....cell shade and cgi, too bad Disney wont probably make any nor will Pixar...

yeah, mee too. if they give up/stop on Power Rangers, at least Disney Channel shows are your last resort. or Disney can show the real sentai shows instead, for americans to feel the real thing.

Well sure maybe Ninja Storm and Dino Thunder were Okay attempts, but during and after the second half of SPD, that's when everything went downhill. So it's more likely that Disney isn't going to survive with the Power Ranger, nor will the company survive with dubbing anime. But so far, the only projects that help saved the company were Pirates of the Carribean and National Treasure. As for the Disney Channel shows, well that's a different story. I don't know what the hell is going on with the situation on Toon Disney, but it more like they just took other cartoon from the early years of Kids' WB and made them look even more rediculous with this senseless censorship. Me, I think they should show more Disney cartoons and less of the other stuff from the early years of Kids' WB and Cartoon Network.

Honestly, my hope is that Disney doesn't get to renew their contract with Toei, and that eventually Disney also loses the distribution rights to Super Sentai (I mean let's face it, no good can come of that), and that eventually someone can start doing commercial releases of the Super Sentai series in the US.

I went to Toei's website (Yeah I was gonna write a letter) and sadly their contacts page is down. If I really wanted too, I could hand write a letter and just put "To the care of Toei Animation in Japan" and pay the over seas fees just to say "DON'T RENEW YOUR CONTRACT WITH DISNEY!".

Toei Company and Toei Animation are two separate branches, but Toei Animation has nothing to do with Sentai. All of the live action shows are produced by Toei, not Toei Animation.
