Heh. I find it funny that this is your reaction to Thor, but you seem to drool over any TF stuff.
Yeah but there are 100 comic book movies and most of them are the same ol' shtick. How many "giant talking robots with explosions" movies are there? Just one. :anime:
Yes, this is a very late reply.
Rumors / (possible) spoilers:
[HIDE]Balder is not in the movie.
The Tesseract, the artifact that the Red Skull stole from the Asgardians during WWII, is mentioned.
Bifrost (the rainbow bridge) functions like a wormhole / stargate.
The Jotuns (frost giants) have the ability to generate and manipulate ice like freezing water and forming armor and weapons. They also have a necrotizing touch which doesn't affect Loki.
Odin rides Sleipnir (his eight-legged horse) in battle against the Jotuns.
Similar to his situation in the Ultimate universe, Thor's banishment renders him powerless.
Odin chants the "if he be worthy" spell on Mjolnir after banishing Thor.
With Thor banished and Odin fallen into the Odinsleep, Loki becomes king of Asgard.
Similar to a scene in the mainstream comics, the townsfolk try to lift Mjolnir to no avail.
A "Donald Blake" is mentioned as Jane's ex-boyfriend.
Bruce Banner and Henry Pym are mentioned when SHIELD appropriates Foster's work.
Clint Barton (Hawkeye) is one of the SHIELD snipers.
While interrogating Thor, SHIELD initially suspects him of being a Hydra agent.
Fandral and Hogun throw Volstagg "fastball special style" at the Destroyer.
Thor destroys Bifrost to prevent it from obliterating Jotunheim.
Loki commits "suicide" by falling into the Bifrost energies.
Jane Foster with funding from SHIELD and Stark Industries, begins the task of making Earth's own Bifrost.
