Yah Toei needs a break from Kamen Rider. Even we can sense their fading enthusiasm for KR.
Whose fading enthusiasm? What exactly are 'we' sensing off the back of the seemingly ridiculous popularity of Den-O? And Kiva actually feels fresh story-wise, having multiple distinct, but still clearly related stories running through the different time periods. I don't sense any fading enthusiasm from Toei whilst watching Kiva at all.
People say that Toei isn't enthusiastic with Kamen Rider these days, but that's at least providing some gripping drama, Go-Onger seems like it's just there to keep Sentai going more than Kiva to Kamen Rider.
Now that's something I can agree with. The show has done a couple of things to mark itself out, i.e. Gold and Silver, G12, but in general, it's felt very.. unambitious.
