Things I've learned from Tony Oliver and JYB at Anime Vegas (DK, JF, BP stuff also)

By the time Zeo was on the air, half of our generation didn't give two shits about Power Rangers anymore. I can understand why people want him to spew out Its Morphin Time.

that is pretty true. alot of the people i know said it was BS for tommy godly 6th ranger to be Zeo Ranger 5 red.

Zeo was probably my fav 90's rangers.

Can you... elaborate? Or is this another bull **** "only a select few people know the secret" thing. Cause I'm getting tired of it.

What annoys me even more is that they post they know information, but that's it. It really sounds pathetic.

Either;

a) They do know and want to seem cool and in the know and won't post about it

b) They do not know anything and that's kinda sad.

If you know, don't post unless you will explain more, it's sad.

-The last he heard from Steve Wang about Kamen Rider Dragon Knight is that the cast walked out on him.

as bad as this sounds, im not suprised. Not to say that it was going to be a bad show, but essencialy, I had a feeling SOMETHING was going to happend like this. I'm sure this also goes in the same vain of whats happening with the recasting rummors we heard.

-Toei was very reluctant to give Steve Wang the rights for Ryuki footage, as according to Tony Toei does not want Kamen Rider to be adapted again.

this is a request from Ishinamori himself. I'm sure Toei is just living up to a promice.

-Johnny is easily annoyed when people ask him for Trigun, Bleach and MMPR lines. What no Zeo? dammit how come no non-PR Fans but still watched PR remembers Johhny was in Zeo, I swear JYB has never done Zeo or Turbo at a con in his life =/ fangirls and boys always want him to say "Its Morphin Time!" till he explodes.

He was VERY anoyed at Comic-con when they made him say stupid things. he was almost like "(SIGH) it's morphin' time..." anytime some fanboy stopped him to say that. He seemed to perk up a bit when I didn't make no offer just to sigh and take a picture, we had a short chit-chat about DMC4 (cause he seemed radiate with something when I showed him the flyer, he got all giddy)and thats all. I didn't want to take his time.

-Johnny was nearly arrested for filming a movie at his friends house, his friend walked outside with a prop gun and his neighbor thought there was a hostage situation, a helicopter circled their house and they were like "Wtf theres a helicopter, its not leaving lets just film anyway". Johnny went outside and there were cops everywhere like something out of a movie, they did the put your hands on the ground thing, they explained to them it was a prop and all the guns were props and they were filming a movie. The cops thought it was a porno, seriously they said "So watcha doin filming a porno?"

Someone should of told the guy with the gun to take off the bright orange cap on the tip of the gun

That is unless it makes big money, and I think with the way CTN promotes it`s live action stuff this will be pretty big

I'm speaking to a member of the cast now... who has informed me that the cast has not walked out....

Me (11:05:49 AM): Can you confirm or deny that the cast of KRDK walked out on the producers?
Cast Member (11:10:02 AM): no one walked out

I guess Tony heard wrong.

Is this "news" about the cast walking out separate from what we heard before about them replacing the actors for Kitt and Maya? Or is that what's being referred to here?

Maybe that's what's being referenced here. Two member walked out and the guy understood it wrong.

Yeah, Tony presumbly overexaggerated, and those remaining are still on the production and will remain in their own roles.

The other, and much bigger problem, is Toei being hesitant to give them anything.

It's not a problem at all because they obviously already gave the rights to use Ryuki. And we knew this from the beginning that Toei was wary about allowing someone to adapt Kamen Rider again. As I recall they changed their minds after speaking with Steve Wang specifically with his response to what he though Kamen Rider was.
