Things are changing once again here at HJU

As you guys noticed by now the layout of the forums have changed with forums of similar themes now under one parent forum. With that change we're now assigning one (or more) mods along with one (or more) admin per parent forum. The mods and admins of those areas are the ones you can go to for any reason.

At this time not all of our staff have been assigned to an area so if it's "staff-less" then at this time if a situation arises that needs a mod/admin to step in then any of the staff will respond.

What this means is that we hope that by assigning specific mods and admins to an area that you guys can and will go to them for help BEFORE a situation gets to the point where we have to issue official warnings or infractions through the Infraction System. We don't want to have to issue warnings or infractions at all but at the same time we can't have members violating our simple forum rules.

Finally, just because a mod/admin is not the primary assigned to that forum does not mean that they do not have authority to step in to handle a situation if need be. What this new system is for is so that you guys have someone to go to if something comes up and you don't want to use the report feature. HOWEVER, please continue to use the report feature as this is how the entire staff is made aware of situations that might get out of control or that have violated the rules. It's also still the best way to contact a mod or admin in the event that you can't contact the person via PM or e-mail.

Well, instead of making a thread, I guess it would be somewhat appropriate to post this here:

In all honesty, I was a bit hesitant to being apart of this board at first (don't take it the wrong way, it was only because I've been apart of a lot of communities already); but my time here has been great! I've grown to know a lot of new members, and some that I've known for quite a long time now (The 2nd Evil, Forever Blue, NinjaJack etc). HJU has been talked about on other boards (non-negative), and I figured it's time to go see what this place was all about. I have to say once again...HJU is in my top five of all the message boards I'm apart of. Thank you all, and I'm looking forward to getting to know the rest of you.
