I present to you... MegaBox. MegaBox was going to be an alternative music store that was entirely cloud-based and offered artists a better money-making opportunity than they would get with any record label.

"UMG knows that we are going to compete with them via our own music venture called Megabox.com, a site that will soon allow artists to sell their creations directly to consumers while allowing artists to keep 90 percent of earnings," MegaUpload founder Kim 'Dotcom' Schmitz told Torrentfreak

Just because these file share sites shutdown does mean other sites will take to place. Mediafile and rapidshare say are here to stay. These shares sites shutdown out of fear and hopefully be back to normal either revamp to a different domain name in a about a few mouths, some may come back, some won't. I don't think filesonic and fileserve can't survive as user Private storage site for so long since the revenue came from ads by clicking shared links, but I don't know future so who know.

Plus as the Megaupload case grows we learn that there other reasons as to why it shutdown. why would the founder KIM DOTCOM.(yes that his name) have safe Rooms in his mansions? Also he has been in trouble with the law before.

I was watching G4 and they showed the owner/guy who was arrested of Megaupload that dude has the sickest looking mansion. I had no idea MU was making that much money. Seriously look it up.

I mean I thought idiots payed for sites like that...I guess there are a lot of idiots.
