Theory: American Kamen Riders

Faiz/555 - Something involving secret agents/spies as their weapons disguise as everyday objects. Orphenochs would be mutants bent on world domination.

...according to many...Orphenochs are rock monsters.

Kiva - Probably the stereotypical Transylvanian horror theme. The US Wataru would probably be goth-ish, Kivat will talk like a typical vampire (even as far as going "bleh" ), Dogga will have his named changed to "Frankie", Basshaa will most likely be called "Gill" and have a kinda bubbly voice, and Garulu would be called "Wolfgang" or similar. I have a name for the US IXA; Arthur Cross (based on IXA's paladin theme)

I will only accept this if Crispin Freeman plays the voice of Kivat...and maybe Wendee Lee as the voice of Kivala

I have no thoughts on what a US Agito and Kuuga would be like...

...simple...fuse it into a single series ala Masked Rider...

Blade - I'm not sure about this one, possibly they won't alter it too much or have a magic/supernatural monster hunter theme.

Read my sig...

Den-O: Again, probably not much change, aside from Momotaros having a Brooklyn accent, Kintaros sounding like a red-neck (as Kansai-ben speaking characters are often turned into Southerners), Sieg sounding like some stuck-up Prince Charming, and as stupid as this sounds, Ryuutaros having the voice of a 10-year-old. I dunno what Urataros would sound like. And they'd probably go back in time to scenes that most US time-travel shows use a lot (e.g Ancient Egypt). So it'd be also educational in a cheesy way.

The FCC and the soccer moms will love this series...and I'll laugh when Keith gets a headache.

Hibiki: Perhaps it would have to do with wannabe-Japanese American kids learning to be Oni and would have their own band when not being taught by their Oni sensei.

This is a blank slate series...so anything can be tinkered with...though the "wannabe Japanese American kids" bit...I tempted to smack you for that.:shakefist

Decade: Tsukasa would be replaced with some Kamen Rider fan, who collects things from trading cards to action figures; then is transported to the Kamen Rider Universe to pretty much unify the Kamen Riders like in the Jap version. That would also explain how Decade knows little facts about the Riders and even speak the Grongi language.

I prefer this series be a homage to the Showa series...and have ZX Foot Soldiers ala Spirits.

Blade is going to be the sequel to Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.

Trust me on this. It's going to happen.

Which Kamen Rider programs have the Riders using cards to fight the monsters? Ryuki, Blade, and Decade right?

Since Decade is so deep into the Kamen Riders series from over the last 10 years, it's doubtful that they'll ever make an American adaption for it.

But with Blade, the possibility that a sequel can be made from it is strong.

"Kamen Rider Blade Knight"

Wait for it.

PS: ...and Orphenochs are rock monsters.

I'd go for Kamen Rider: Knight's Blade before that.

Nice theories on Faiz, Blade, Kabuto, and Kiva. Although I might expect Decade to be more of a time-travelling type of theme for the US adaption.

If there is any more time-traveling, Decade would have become Den-cade, which would may be even worse. The problem with that is, concepts of either shows will end up misused, misinterpreted ,which would alter its focus. The show is meant to be dealing with worlds, not time, or time-worlds, all the time, which would make it even more chaotic to understand. It would only work if it is a exception in those situations in the various worlds.

Here are the Wang Brothers take if they plan on doing more Kamen Rider

If anything it'll be different but true to the orginal. I for one dont want to see anymore U.S. Riders outside Dragon Knight unless they have a much larger budget and more time to film.

Well, see how Dragon Knight fares, that might determine whether they have the go or not for any other plans.

As much as I like the concept of following the original series, I think that is too limiting when it comes dealing with more Kamen Rider for any adaptions. To have increase budget, even any splurging budget would be good to have, but that isn't always possible. For filming it, more time would be better to have, yet doesn't it end up as good, just to have those two being considered. There is much more, as in director, and other details to pay attention to.

Blade will be about some regular playing deck artifact in a museum one day got stolen and suddenly releases the undeads and people with best card playing skills are chosen as riders.

Out of all of these hairbrained ideas, I actually like this one the best.

I dont know if they all should, but at least one should be a badass cardshark ala Gambit.

I get ya! But like I was saying having more time to film and for "post-pro" would've helped the show alot. I feel Camo's spot was rushed and we didnt even get to see his Advent Monster.

But anyway I cant help but to feel a luke-warm/avrage ending even with the big names they have coming to the show. Not saying the show sucks at all, it verry good just not the best.

Wonder what their english names will be? I can see Kiva being something like, Kamen Rider Fang Knight or something.
