DX has the right idea though. Should he ever want to sell the second MISB figure, he'd get a **** ton of money.

So, I bought some toys this past week:
DCUC Azrael Batman. I'd seen him before, when I didn't have any money to spare, but today was the right place & time! I LOVE THAT METALLIC BLUE. I always liked this design, even if the character was a major douche. I don't know what the hell happened with those backwards gauntlet spikes, but maybe I can slice 'em out & reposition them or something.
Real Batman! From DC Direct's Batman Incorporated lineup. I don't have the aversion to ridges that a lot of people seem to have when it comes to Jim Lee's designs, but that's a moot point since this is a David Finch design. It's a very well scuplted figure, especially in the face. This is unmistakenly Bruce Wayne at his most serious & it rocks for it. But I do hope this smaller scale at the same price isn't the way DC Direct figures are going.
Robocop! Daaaaaance 'til you drop! Do the Robocop! I-I-I-I'd buy that for a dollar! Anyone who got that club reference... sucks to be you, haha. As for the figure, NECA did a helluva job on the sculpt, even down to the OCP serial numbers on his helmet. Articulation's not great, but it's to be expected for a figure that's essentially a suit of armor. The only real gripe I have is that the shoulders are just a little too small, which is a common flaw on Robocop figures throughout the years. Still, really good figure.
TAAAAAA-JAAAAAAAA-DO-RUUUUUUU! Got this from the J-Style store in the Costa Mesa Mitsuwa, where he'd apparently just come in that day. The clerk assured me the figure was "very fresh"
HULK SON SMAAAAAASH!!! Or whatever the hell he says. This is pretty much the only figure out of the current MU wave that I was even remotely interested in. Now that I have him... he looks way too funny. I'm assuming he's supposed to be just uber-muscled, but the legs are just way too short & he comes off looking stumpy. Hopefully the upcoming all-new Hulk sculpt makes up for this.
Finally, I came across a line of figures from an ooooolllllld movie at a Toys 'R Us and I was ASTOUNDED. Not just that there's a toy line, and not just because the likenesses are actually really pretty good. What completely won the day in the action figure universe was this guy:
If I hadn't just bought AzBats & Skaar earlier today, and if this figure wasn't $19.99 (ONORE, TRU!!!) I'd have bought this in a heartbeat. As it is, I'll just have to hope it's still around next week. Fucking awesome. :castlerock::castlerock::castlerock:
