1. The man died after filming the movie, and his death obviously would have help add on to the already tremendous amount of people that will go see the movie, so you think they would put in at least a little "In the memory of Heath Ledger" type thing? But nope nothing.

There is something in there. It's not those exact words but they honor him, though not right at the beginning of the credits. You either didn't stay long enough or didn't pay attention.

Also, the trailer for the Watchmen? Wow... I dont even know what the fucking Watchmen is. I saw the beginning and thought "this better not be thor or some ****", but it turned into something incredible. Definitely seeing that movie.

I love this. Thor isn't even a DC Comics character.

TDK was ridiculously awesome. I didn't think somehting with this much hype could meet all the the expectations but it blew them all away.

And btw there is gonna be a Thor movie, its gonna be the biggest budget movie out of marvel so they probably wont **** it up and it will end up being awesome.

TDK was the ****. I loved it through and through. I really want to see it again. Heath Ledger stole the show. Aaron Eckhart did a fantastic job as Harvey Dent/Two-Face. Maggie was ten times better then Katie Holmes. Chris Nolan did it again. I hope there is a sequel to TDK.

Ugh, this movie sounds very much like an Allan Moore comic, Nihlistic, depressing and in the end; violent. No thanks. If I wanted to leave the theatre more depressed than I walked in, I'd watch security footage of my job

So I saw it again last night on the IMAX, and it was incredible watching it on there. This movie was really cool for me, considering that I'm from Chicago. I knew where most of the stuff was, and I actually got to see some of the stuff being filmed. The coolest one to see was the hospital scene. That was amazing to watch from a distance.

You think that's bad, I have to wait til Thursday when it comes out, and then I'll have to go in the morning and be stuck with an audience of 10 year olds who just finished school, or wait til the evening when it'll probably be sold out.

...Then again, only time I was ever going to see a film and it was sold out it was Pokemon: The First Movie... Heh.

But violence is goooood.
Just because something is serious and mortal (I think that's the right word) it's depressing? The point of this kind of film is to thrill, entertain and catharsise. When it comes to video games and comic books, I'd rather they be serious and dramatic, providing character and interest in the progress, than filled with bad jokes and slapstick. Film, on the other hand, it varies... But ideally they're more interesting if they're bitter-sweet or tragic but satisfying. It's not all Kamen Rider and Sentai :sweat:
