The "new" Spider-Girl

Marvel doesn't hate all 90's characters. The New Warriors and Darkhawk are still around in one form or another. In fact, all of the founding members except Night Thrasher are all in either ongoing storylines or new titles right now.

To be fair all the founding New Warriors were pre-existing characters from the 80's or before except Night Thrasher. I will give you Darkhawk though, I just wish his story didn't have to include the death of Lilandra I like her.

Mattie Franklin was never referred to as Spider-Girl. She was Spider-Woman.

Mattie Franklin was Spider-Woman. Spider-Girl is a different character. Simple mistake really
