I didn't think the Hulk movie was that bad either. Not great by any means, but not even half as deserving of the **** it gets.

And what about the people that actually LIKED it? Isn't this kind of a slap in the face to them?

Well from what I've heard, Norton is butting heads over Final Cut with Marvel. He wants it one way (especially since he was producer, actor and I think writer) while Marvel want it another way (they can't afford another Hulk bomb.)

Edward Norton seems to always do that. It was really big deal when he tried to take control over American History X.

People could deal with a cerebral Hulk...the TV series with Bill Bixby. He could pull off the emotional gravitas for the fount of emotions welling within him and then we had the greatness of Lou Ferrigno when he was "angry."

What Lee should've done was the "HULK SMASH" for the first movie, then he could do the cerebral one for the sequel, but still have some action. Why were kids nicknamed "The Hulk" in school? Was it because they were brooding and always worrying about letting their dark side out to play? No, they were called it because they were big guys who liked to punch, hit, & say things like "HULK SMASH." You work on the action first and bring in the emotional consequences of letting your emotions take over as the counter point to levelling half of the city with your Jade Fists of Rage.

I have high hopes for this version. I liked the first one, but then again I also like the TV series so I can deal with the cerebral aspect of Banner.

Even without her, it looks pretty good. I'm always up for a Hulk Story, and as long as this one doesn't have exploding mutant goo dogs, I think I'll be happy.

is it me or this movie gonna suck ass since there's so much talking in the trailer and not enough ass kicking/high tension/intense moments....

maybe the next trailer will be better...

once again i expect a city to be destroy by abomo and hulk...:buttrock:

Someone told me that they show the TIH trailer at the end of Doomsday the move and after the logo comes on you get a 2 second shot of the Hulk Face and he growls at you , LOL and he looks awesome on the big screen!
