The Independent Filmmakers thread

Well I haven't really made any films of my own yet, but I've directed/written many for School and I hope to get into the profession soon.

I'm going into film and video production when I head to uni this year. My ultimate goal is indie filmmaking. :buttrock:

I would love to see people post some of their work. I want to post a clip of an animated short I'm currently working on, but I'm waiting for Keith to post it on the front page.

My filmmaking career has been on hiatus for about a year and a half now, but I'm almost finished writing a script for a short I'm going to be producing with one of my friends this spring/summer. After that I have a kind of personal landmark action/comedy project in mind using a great location I found a while back that I would love to start working on as soon as possible.

Filmmaking is one of my favorite talents (besides cartooning and animation). You can see samples of my student work here:

Half of it so far is animation of my original monster, Rekira. (I'm planning to upload a much better quality version of my last film.)

Independent filmmaking is a great way to go. Especially today, with digital FX technology.
