Any one remember when Warren lead a Grog takeover of YTV on new years day 1994?

YTV was certainly...weird back in the day. It's more tame now a days though...

Speaking of weird.

:D

I remember hearing about The Raccoons, but never seen a episode.

But, does anyone remember a show called Rupert:

Was that a Canadian show?

IF you got Teletoon Retro the Raccoons air every night at 9 I think. Then its Inspector Gadget :castlerock: and later on Reboot!

Teletoon Retro rocks my socks...unless it airs Hannah-Barberra/Looney Toons stuff -.-

Rupert, well that one version anyway, was made by Nelvana so yeah Canadian. I loved that show when I was younger...it was so filled with wonders!

The Magician was made by Gaumont Animation (now Xilam studio, they did this AWESOME Lucky Luke movie, Go West, recently, check it out!) so its French.

You guys remember these:

I LOVED those three shows. Teletoon was filled with awesome CanCon back then :castlerock:

Wow, and here I thought I would end up being the one bringing up Insektors, Blazing Dragons, or The Raccoons, being the only one who remembered them. Interesting fact, while Insektors was made in France, there were two English dubs, one in Canada, which was the most faithful translation, and the other in the UK, which essentially re-did everything (names, dialogue, jokes, etc.) while keeping the same plot.

I have a pretty long list of Canadian shows I can think of, so I'll start off sort of chronological with some "classic" or at least somewhat-iconic ones (point out if you at least know one of them):
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkYaauQkSFc"]Rocket Robin Hood[/ame]
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Vm2-JUldNw"]The Friendly Giant[/ame]
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TK9KA9WMdtA"]Math Patrol[/ame]
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oq0hbdtszMs"]Today's Special[/ame]
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywl4WikdCN4"]Adventures of Tintin[/ame]
And to cap things off,

I like the fact they have Fraggle Rock, The Banana Splits, ReBoot, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Inspector Gaget, Batman TAS, GI Joe, Transformers, Beetlejuice and Classic Spiderman.

And i like the HB/LT stuff, they are classics!

Damn Rusty, in his bag and all.......

W&S are the bomb. They are like the quintessential Canadian comedy duo.

On that note, anyone here watch 22 Minutes or the Rick Mercer Report?

I remember watching Stickin' Around on YTV; but not Blazing Dragons. Ned's Newt, I used to watch bits and pieces of it on TeleToon back in the day.

Oh man, I definitely remember Today's Special when I was a young lad. I also remember The Adventures of TinTin being on Global on Saturday afternoons.

Wayne & Shuster used to be aired on the Comedy Network in Canada.
