The HJU Festival of Books!

Can anybody help me out on this? I've been looking for the title of a certain Star Trek book where it describes how various crew members took on the Kobayashi Maru training exercise. It'd be awesome if any of you guys knew this.

I was also recently reccommended Wondrous Strange by Lesley Livingston, a story of romance and English fay folklore set in New-York City where Central Park is almost a character on its own. Miaka-chan I'm pretty sure you'd like that one!

JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, and JK Rowling's Harry Potter series are all classics, and recommendable.

My recent favorite book is Neil Gaiman's Coraline, which I became a big fan of, via the movie. I recommend it!

If you want graphic novels, there's Alan Moore's Watchmen (which goes without saying), Daniel Clowes' Ghost World, Darwyn Cooke's DC: The New Frontier, Ted Naifeh's awesome Courtney Crumrin series, Dan Brereton's Giantkiller, and Christian Slade's Korgi, which is absolutely adorable (it's about a young girl and her fire-breathing pet Welsh Corgi). James D. Hudnall's one of my favorite writers, and his many graphic novels, especially his classic ESPers series, are highly recommendable.

For those interested in a zombie book I'd say The Zombie Survival Guide and Day by Day Armageddon are some of the best the genre has to offer.

Can anyone recommend me a good sci-fi book. Morely like Star Wars.

Check out Old Man's War by John Scalzi. It's an amazing start to a really good series of books.

I know which book you're talking about, but it's name is on the tip of my tongue. I'll get back to you later when I remember.
