Late, but Thoughts on Turbo Review

I'm tired, so I'll just repost the stuff from my twitter page

After watching Linkara's HOPR Turbo episode some time ago the only thing I can do is shake my head. Not at Saban but Linkara. How many times can some one bitch about the footage used. It's not like Saban chooses the footage they use. They always use the preveous years sentai. The only other footage was Megaranger (aring at the time(adapted into In Space) and all the series that came before Zyuranger. In which it would be even more obvious to tell the difference between the Japanese and American footage. Although, if we could get our hands on the Jetman costumes and just use all original footage for a new series, that would be awesome.

I don't think you understood his complaints. They're basically the same complaints nearly everyone has for the first half of Turbo. They tried to make the show more serious, like Zeo, but it failed horribly. The reason being, that they were using Carranger, which was a comedy.

After In Space is where a much younger Linkara stopped watching so he doesn't really know which episodes are filler and which aren't

I think Kamen Rider Cero-G is talking about Linkara comment in his review of Lightspeed rescue where he says "they were under no obliagation to use Carranger and could use any of the other past sentai" when Linkara talks about why hes fine with Lightspeed rescue using trains but not okay with Turbo using cars.

Well the same arguement could also be made for SPD or Operation Overdrive
