The good things about Go-Onger

okay i don't say you don't have to say anything, like i said i'm just reponding to your opinion. i'm just not the persons who really wants something that badly enough to go complaining about a show only because of the things they don't like it. having critics are okay but saying that i want it like that is just not needed. Go-onger is go-onger i think that every series needs to have their own perosonality and go-onger has its own.

I was only saying what Go-On could have been using the material and themes they currently have, if Toei had half a mind about them. Not necessarily what I want Go-On to be.

A good thing about Go-on? I'd say the BGM and the vocal songs. The only ones I'm not really fond of are the Engine-Ou G6 theme and the two First Lap rehashes, but songs like Take Off! Go-on Wings or Engine Gattai Engine-Ou are excellent and an improvement from last year's vocal songs, IMO. Geki had an awesome BGM too, but the vocals (except Gekiviolet's theme) weren't really my cup of tea.

The show is awesome as a whole. Outstanding is Saki , the talking and cute zords, the cool suits and the funny elements.

Ah yes, I got confused between the two. Adrienzo's review remarked on the lack of enthusiasm with Go-On:

Yea. This was the first time I watched a movie in Japan and perhaps I thought maybe it was courtesy or something that they make absolutely no noise in the theatre (seeing how in public places they tell people to turn off their cellphones). But within the first minute of Kiva and Nago's appearance and his comment to Megumi the audience finally started to laugh...

The Go-onger did a lot of "humourous" things, or things that they looked like they were trying to pull of as comedy but none of which worked. It seemed even kids prefer just the sharp tongue nature of Rider jokes than the physical comedy of Sentai.

As for what I like about Go-onger is that it will probably air the annual team up and of course I can't wait to see the Gekirangers again. I do hope they will bring back Mele and Rio.

1. Takayuki Miyauchi and Shinichi Ishihara's songs...which has has little to do with the actual show...
2. Wing Trigger is a pretty neat toy. Looks stupid as hell with the Rocket Booster on it.

Nothing else. I've trudged from start to finish through some shitty Sentai/Rider series before...but Go-on Wings made this impossible. How can anybody like them? I'm sure if you ran into assclowns like this in real life, you wouldn't think they're so cool.

BTW, the fact that this thread exists made me laugh. It's like asking "What are the good things about the Hurricane?" and the only answer being "Well, atleast we finally got some rain this summer.".
