So ... You're advocating violence/death against people just because they don't allow you to slap stereotypes on their kids? :redface2:
Heh. This thread is just now LC's rant thread.
I'm in Toronto, too. Let's do this thing.
I'll constantly requote someone so more people see what she said
Alright!, you take the guy and I'll take the wife. We kidnap the child, hit up Canada Post, send it to Keith and let him decide which sex the child is!.
Sound good?.
Why is this news? So a set of parents have decided to do something that forces their personal beliefs on their child. This happens everyday with everyone.
Not really, more often than not it is a passive process. It is (usually) only when it becomes a significant aspect of the parent-child dynamic that the two parties are at loggerheads. Even if they do rebel there is still a chance that the hild will ultimately come to agree with the parentIsn't forcing a parent's beliefs kinda counter-productive? Kids like to rebel. If you bring them up in fanatically religious household, kid grows up atheist. You bring them up without gender - kid runs off to be a lumberjack (if born with penis) or a beauty pageant queen (if born with vagina)
