The Effort in Designing Kajin Suits

In every one to two weeks there will usually be a new kajin appearing in KR and SS. Do the creators spend more time on designing the suits of the kajins or writing the script for the next episodes? I think kajins aren't as important as the heroes in the shows or the toys line unless they are the final enemy. They usually appear in 1-2 episodes to be kill and never to be seen again.

I think they first do the scripts, and then do the Kajins design related to the scripts.

I'd imagine that they're two different teams of people, as script writing and suit design are very different skill sets.

I think it's interesting the techniques Toei uses to make monsters week in and week out for both of their series. Each show has a thematic look to all their monsters, and Kamen Rider shows tend to have the same animal motifs from year to year. Super Sentai also tends to have a lot of repeats of monster themes from year to year as well.

The writer could easily script a description for the MOTW that the costuming and prop departments could use as a basis.
