The Amazing Spider-Man - Talkback

The feeling I'm getting from TASM is that, while being a enormous improvement from the Rami films, it's wants to be a Marvel Sts. movie, but it's being held back by Sony. Maybe between now and #2, Disney will wrestle the rights away from Sony, maybe.

People act like the Sam Raimi Spider-Man movies were bad. Spider-Man 1 and 2 were some of the best comic book films ever...3 was the only weak one

Agreed 100%. I don't know why people hate on those. But considering they were HUGE at the box office, I think some of the haters saw them a few times anyway :anime:

I didn't get a chance to watch the movie until yesterday, but I loved it. Although, I'm super biased since I love anything Spiderman. Even preordered the ASM Hot Toys.

Though I thought the part where Peter Parker was making the Spiderman suit felt a bit rushed.

My father got it off redbox, and I just watched it to see the scene where Peter is screwing around with that car thief in the parking lot, hitting him with webbing, making witty remarks, dodging bullets and crap. It was a fun as hell scene.

agreed. being someone who enjoyed the first two movies, I walked out of the cinema thinking "WTF happened?" after watching 3. The Amazing Spiderman is just an improvement from good to better IMO.
