In Double, Philip does say that W isn't a war machine. It's good that Shoutaro's kind too.

Sentai = Meant to be watched by kids. Has mecha and multi-colored "rangers" that forms a squad to fight bad guys. Mostly comedy.

"Sentai" by definition stands for a collective group of individuals.

Kamen Rider = Meant to be watched by teens. No mecha but more likely has motorcycles as a trademark. Usually just 1 main character. Mostly dramatic.

"Kamen Rider" by definition is a masked individual who "rides" and is usually alone in his quest.

your definition maybe fine. but for me, Super Sentai were based focus of watching by young kids in different color heroes and combine mecha. fighting against evil to save world. although Sentai means "Task Force."

Kamen Rider which mostly focused to any individual even young or adult ones. its a destiny to fight against evil organization even the main characters were riding motorcycle.
