You know last time I checked manholes are usually located on the road. Why was she even texting while walking on a street, with cars? It's common sense.

She has a case, and will probably win it, since the open manhole was no marked, nor was it being watched.

She probably won't get a big judgement though, because the prosecution will throw out the fact that she was texting over and over again. Assuming the judge (or jury if it goes that far) are over 30, that'll probably count against her.

It'll be enough for a college fund at least.
