takeru from shinkenger : perhaps the best red ranger?

Takeru was a badass Red Ranger but since I haven't seen the Sentai series from the past, I wouldn't give him the label of being the best ever. I really do like Bouken Red as he did had an interesting backstory. I would need to see the older series before making any further thoughts. I do think that Alata from Goseiger probably has to be the most feminine Red Ranger of all-time though. That skip he did before going shopping in Epic 35 was just not cool. :nono:

I almost fell out my chair laughing when I thought of it:laugh: But I have to agree with you Takeru isn't as good as other red rangers such as Bouken Red or Ban.

Takeru was so-so to me. I find he's another boring character like Akashi even though they were both kinda like their seniors from the older series: serious, calm-headed and skilled fighters. one of my favourite Reds would be Matoi/GoRed. I have others too but I'm too tired to think...

Takeru comes off as one of the better Reds. However, every Red Ranger has one thing in common. They won't give up without a fight!!!

Even if I haven't watched all 34 super sentai series, among the red rangers, takeu from shinkenger is one of the most interesting and badass character: in the samurai theme series, he is the designated lord, and the others are his vassals, and therefore, it emphasizes the importance of his leader responsability.

Seriously, there are older Red Rangers who are better than Takeru.

I've just read all this replies and it seems that some people are annoyed because the title of my thread seems to be is "takeru is the best red" forgetting the title includes "perhaps", but I just wished to discuss about different red rangers, and in the post, I said "one of the best"
It's great to see so many opinions about red rangers; and that was the aim of this thread; but I don't think anyone should be mocked because he has an opinion.
BTW Ryou (Dairanger) is also a great red; but Kakeru (Gaoranger) is really so-so

He was okay for his series, but against all the other Reds, not one of my top 20. Or 25.

I think Takeru/ShinkenRed is ONE of the best but not the best. That title belongs to ChangeDragon.

I think the idea of him is he's just very childish :sweat: Why do so many people think the Red has to be some kind of Rambo type? Look at the popularity of BoukenRed on here
