Guns, katanas, steampunkish setting, and glorious, glorious blonde pigtails...What is there not to love about all of this?

I'm sick of filmmakers taking things that are inherently likeable and entertaining and trying to make them hip and accessible by mass-marketing them with giant budgets and superstar celebrities with perfect complexions.


If ninjas and zombies and robots and machine guns and scantily-clad women can't be awesome anymore without being public commodities, WHAT DO WE HAVE LEFT?!?!?!
