late to the game and finally saw this...

this movie is awesome, probably one of other favorite Trek flicks next to First Contact...

the new kirk is pretty awesome, i wished they showed more of Nero and his background...it be interesting if one day a young Nero becomes part of the Enterprise due to the timeline change...this would contrast Spock who is more formal while Nero would be kicking ass....:buttrock:

I don't know how long a usual Romulan lifespan is but if its anything close to a human's I'm pretty sure Nero wouldn't even be alive until TNG time.

It's roughly twice the length of a human lifespan. Some Romulans have been known to live in excess of over 200 years.

In that case we could see a younger Nero in a future installment. Probably not apart of the Federation though.

In order for Nero to pop up in a future film he would have originally been relatively close in age to Spock Prime. Even after the 25 year wait that didn't seem to be the case.

proabably the next star trek flick will involve klingon vs romulans since vulcan got canned...

a young nero would be awesome if they could find a way for him to be in it...
