I don't think Raimi and co are going anywhere right now. We're stuck with the previous director, producers, and cast whether anybody likes it or not. So complaining about it now is no good.

Maybe after SM4, you'll actually have some leverage to ask for that, and you may have your wish, but for now, we have Raimi.

And so long as we have Raimi, we will have delays and a franchise so dated and untrue to Spider-Man's characters, discussing the movies is pointless.

I agree with Skyknight here, why are people backing Raimi? Spider-Man 3 was fucking awful regardless of Venom.

I think a ton of factors that went into why Spidey 3 was awful. Putting aside all the retoolings and character shoe horning they imposed on Raimi, he still had to keep the same schedule. They were filming without a finished script, or so the commentary says. Add to that they clearly had no idea how to portray Eddie Brock or Venom, and were just kind of making it happen regardless of whether or not it really worked. I do blame Raimi for a lot of it, it was on his watch AND he co-wrote that god awful script. On the other hand, he's responsible for the most unanimously loved comic book movies (until TDK and IM, anyhow) ever. I'm gonna give him one more shot. I think he deserves it.

Or maybe Gwen Stacy since she added nothing to the film.

I believe the original version of the script had Venom kidnapping Gwen instead of MJ, but why would Harry come to help save someone he (in the movie canon) obviously doesn't know. Her and Captain Stacy being at his funeral notwithstanding...

The PS2 and Wii version can be beaten in a single night, I learned this the hard way, the night it came out.

I never finished the 360 version, lost my patience with it after enjoying Web of Shadows too much...

Every Spider-Man game should have a boss fight with assist from a shotgun wielding Mary Jane...

The only Spidey game i've completed is Ultimate Spider-man... like 4 times. I love that game.
