Something I can't Tolerate.

True story here. About 6 months ago I was driving through my parking lot. a Squirrel was running across the road. I stopped to let it go by. As I drove on I looked in my rear view mirror to check on it... It waved at me. I **** you not. It waved.
I've got nothing to say to that but...

Oh, you care, Storm Eagle! :(:bawling:

That's very good thing to know that you have a big heart in you. Very smart of you to pulled over to pick up a kitten. People these days really shouldn't never put those beautiful cats outside for no reason. Just putting them in the house, so they could live longer.

Currently, I learned that the oldest cat ever walked on the earth! Her name is Lucy, at 39 years old now, in South Wales. If you let me share a link with you, so you can read to see what's going on! Bless her heart!

I must tell you though, that the kitten turned out to be sick. It had pneumonia, so they had to put it down. It sucks, but I'm still glad I was there to spot it. I almost wouldn't have been there to see it either, because I saw it after driving home from work. It wasn't but about two blocks from my job, and I was going home from work early. I would have been off from work all that week and the following week, but I decided to just come in for half a day to make up for time I had missed.

I had a chance to do something like this before, since on my way home from work, I spotted three teenage girls standing around a cat that seemed to have a bum front leg. At that time, I didn't really know what to do in a situation like that, but now I know, now that I've since been better informed. That's why I took that kitten off the street. Now I have these SPCA phone numbers stored in my cell phone, for the cities I frequent. I've even recently learned of a vet facility not too far from where I live, that takes in stray animals and works on them, and even holds them for adoption. They're also open 24/7.

Oh, they has to put them to sleep? :(

Um, mind you tell me what were the teenage girls doing standing around a cat? Were they trying to harm a cat? So good thing to know that they're open 24/7. Perhaps you should be working there.

I didn't really get a good long look, but those girls didn't seem to be a threat to the cat. They were probably just fawning over it. You know how girls are about animals. :)

I guess I wouldn't mind working at that place myself. Sure seems a lot interesting than where I work, which is a health facility that I wish could be a veterinary facility. My job has a number of departments, and I shudder to think about working in some of their departments. ESPECIALLY the pediatrics department.

:hmm:

Oh, teenagers....

Well, I'm hoping that I'll be landing a job in animal hospital very soon. Not that many jobs are available in my area now. Due to tough times. I'll let you know if I got a job in animal hospital. :)

I would just like to add, not for the sake of contention but earnest consideration, that humans are animals as well. Wham, bam, thank you ma'am.
