Both Shinkenger and Magiranger are really good series, so I think you are off to a great start. Once you are done with them, you should check out Dekaranger and Timeranger.

It is a blessing actually. lol Since you're set on Magi, then I can tell you it is a really good series. It's a Family team, so it can get very emotional at times. I loved the first episode.

Well if family teams are the appeal, he should go for Fiveman or GoGoV first instead of Magi.
