So much Sentai, where to start?

Naturally, people will pick their favorites that show their personal preferences.

I say start in the beggining of a decade. 80's, 90's, 00's, or '75 to 80.

That way you have 10 different series to choose from, with different takes to them. After that you can choose another decade backwards or forwards.

Well...from what little I've seen, I didn't dislike it, but then again it didn't grab me either. Like alot of Showa era stuff, it's a good thing to remember that you don't have to watch ALL of it, or any of it at all really. It's not required really unless you count the sort of meta-continuity of nods and winks and references. It really is your personal choice to watch older stuff or not. For Zyu, I'd say just give the first couple episodes a shot and see if it interests you. Sometimes you have to do it the trial-and-error way.

Personally, with those two on your plate, I'd say you're off to a good start.

Thank you very much. I've watched Mighty Morphin, and I've heard that it was based off Zyu, so I'll give it a shot. But right now, MagiRanger looks the coolest. I've never seen Mystic force, and some people tell me that's a blessing. XD

Zyuranger isn't very good, it's bad but not in a "everything is falling apart" way. The show just seemed so phoned in outside of a few episodes and...the heroes themselves aren't the most interesting bunch. They're extremely bland and a lot of the moments that make people enjoy the show don't come in for some time.

Just on a personal level I would recommend Kakuranger and Flashman. Flashman is more straight up dramatic and Kakuranger is an experiment in crazy antics that works amazingly well. (it's got a decent share of dramatics as well)

It is a blessing actually. lol Since you're set on Magi, then I can tell you it is a really good series. It's a Family team, so it can get very emotional at times. I loved the first episode.

MagiKing is sooo sexy too.
