So I was rewatching Decade....

and something kinda confused me. What exactly are the Riders that DiEnd summons? In the episode during Black/Black RX he is able to summon the other Kotaro, and he acted exactly like he should. But back during the Hibiki world, he summons Momotaros, who seems to have his personality in tact, but at the same time, he had no reservations about attacking Decade. So I'm just slightly confused as to what exactly DiEnd is summoning. Is it the real riders or some kind of doll/replica kinda deal?

I reckon Diend's cards summon the riders with their normal personalities but not being the actual riders themselves.
As for the Black specifically being the Kotaro from Black no Seka I think that since it was a card in Decade's arsenal, it may have been meant to summon that specific Black for RX's sake of realising he isn't alone.

I am increasingly fond of the theory that Diend summons the stage show versions of Riders.

I basically agree with that. The Diend summons are copies of the Riders, not only of their suits. That fits with the examples mentioned and also explains a few other things, like the Caucasus summon always carrying his flower. But they're just copies, not the Riders themselves.

Black appeared untransformed initially just for fanservice, the double transformation sequence, but, presumably, Diend could have ordered that Black to fight against RX just like what he did with that Den-O summon.

Tsukasa thought those Attack Ride cards would something cool, instead it had him say the Taros' catchphrases. The only one that work was the Ax Form Ride card.

As for Decade not explaining everything, It only did some of it. Like Tsukasa & the Deca & Diend Drivers orgins as well as why he had to kill the Riders.

I think they're just drones. However, he was able to summon the actual Kotaro from the other world, possibly due to the dimensional wall being so close?

They are drones unless the writer feels like contradicting it or you are a beloved monster character who's voice actor is easy to bring on board for a few lines.
