So I just discovered Saint Seiya

God damn; this series is amazing so far. I just finished the Black Saints Arc and I am hooked. I think that this may even wrestle the special place in my heart away from Fist of the North Star.

Welcome to the fold! Try to get your hands on the manga, the post Black Saint arc bits are better in the manga IMO.

There's also the always excellent Episode G that's a prequel. The artstyle is a bit different than what you might expect but the story makes up for it in spade.

they also have the prequel/other story Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, which has beautiful art and an ok storyline

Great series as for the dub the didn't finish it but you can find it and it is being re-released.

As for my favorite part it's the hades saga and my favorite saint is Camus it also helps being biased because I'm an Aquarius.

Oh yeah! Forgot the Lost Canvas. Teshirogi's art is like Kurumada's art, but BETTER!:buttrock: The art looks similar but refined.

Sasha is so hot!

If you're digging the vibe of Saint Seiya and Kuramada's art then you might also like B't-X and Ringu Ni Kakero. Here's the OP's for both of their anime:

Ringu Ni Kakero

Man; both Bt-X and Ring Ni Kakero look awesome, but I wanna finish Seiya before I get caught up in a different show; and man do I have a ways to go.
I just barely finished the Ankoku Saints arc.
145 episodes man, 145 episodes.
But then again, long animes were better back in the day. Fist of the North Star, Seiya, Legend of Galactic Heroes

B't X is nice but its really like a Sci-fi remake of Saint Seiya, down to the way Teppei looks like Seiya >.>

But it has some pretty cool stuff. I like Hokuto.
