Smallville - Final Season 10

I liked the episode, too. I doubt we'll be seeing Blue Beetle again in the last few episodes, since it'd take time away from finishing the current story, but it was fun to see him. I wonder if they're fishing for a spinoff?

My only gripe is that we don't know what happened to Booster at the end of the episode. Did he go back to the future? Is he still hanging around Metropolis? Did he decide to move to Smallville? :P

First episode I've really enjoyed in quite a while.

Wasn't keen on the kid that played The Blue Beetle tho. Booster Gold was pretty damn awesome.

When Clark ran in to the phone booth, I kinda felt like he was going to open his shirt and be wearing the Supersuit, but was reminded that he's got the jacket still.

Finally got caught up with Smallville.
And while Kent may not have been a stellar episode it was far from "not needed." Each episode this season, Clark has learned a lesson that will help him define Clark Kent vs the greatest hero ever known.

Yeah I agree that it's not stellar, but dude... Every scene with Jonathan Kent was just too tear-jerking for me... Especially the one before Clark Kent warps back and the epilogue where he visits Martha. :bawling:

So, has anybody else seen the latest... I, just my opinion, that this latest episode is more towards the fluff side.

Clark and Oliver went inside the Phantom zone and eventually it was revealed that it was a trap by Zod.
Feel of 300 in this episode.
Zod, so easily able to "trust" Oliver because of Darkseid's mark.
Time lapse between Phantom zone and real world.
Clark and Lois are still going to get married...

I think that the purpose of the episode was to dwell on the possible fight between Clark and Oliver with Oliver being marked.

Yeah...since there was no real "lesson" for Clark to learn (can be argued that Lois had to learn a lesson though), it's setting us up for something that will (hopefully) pay off during the final 2 episodes.
