Since it's midway through Gaim...how should the final arc play out???

This is Urobutcher we're talking about this ain't Inoue and you know how toku likes to do something last minute. By 39-40, something f'ed up is bound to happen.

It probably won't be THAT bad. Only two plot relevant humans have died so far. Still we at least 15+ episodes to if another Rider dies and its not on of the Energy Riders (Excluding Micchi) then sh*t will have hit the fan.

well..it shouldn't be dark, you know
although we know what kind of insane our writer here

for me, if urobuchi can keep the story this good until the end, it will surely be the one heck of a series that everyone will praise (again, it doesn't matter if there will be more character's death, but please not kouta)

and after seeing episode 29 twice, my hope for roshuo to be the final baddies seems to crushed :redface2:

We've had side characters 'secretly' be magical plot devices every year since Double (excluding OOO IIRC) I'm really sick of that "plot twist", plus I think Urobuchi is far more capable of a writer then that.

While I feel that the ending will probably be more upbeat, considering the themes of growing up, responsibility, etc; I feel that having everyone die would be counter-intuitive. That being said, I'm just gonna hope/trust that Urobuchi will end this series in a satisfying way so that it can remain thematically consistent and continue being my favorite toku.

I think it'l have a happy ending, but with a bitter taste to it. Sure the Beat Rider people will have happy endings. However the other main characters have developed and come so far it's impossible to revert back to 'normal' and live as if nothing has happened. So something similar to Faiz I think.

I really hope they won't pull off a Ryuki. Man the series was pretty decent all the way and they screwed it up with the ending. And please no Fourze as well. But I'm confident in Urobutchi and he probably won't do this.

It will be cool if they give us a more darker ending. I can't think of the last time when Kamen Rider had a dark ending. Baron will likely be alive in order to use him in the Gaim X 2014/2015 Rider movie and future crossovers.

I'm not looking for uber depressing, just something worthwhile. The most optimistic thing I could see is Kota choosing to stay in Helheim just to oversee both worlds. Better yet, access cracks via Decade and surprise the other riders in their respective worlds and giving Tsukasa a WTF moment with Kota proclaiming a rider passing through. And then visit the sentai world.

Well, Ankh was a magical plot device, it just wasn't a secret ...

I suspect Gaim will pull some kind of reset at the end so that any major characters who die can be resurrected in time for Movie Wars. The Gaim part could always be AU but they'd most likely appear in the team-up section as well ...

I think at least one of Ryoma's cabal will get what they want but also suffer eternal torment at the same time. I can imagine one of them fusing with the Helheim flora and become part plant (or just go full Overlord), but get hunted down by potential rivals from yet more worlds for all time. Kota may have to make some big sacrifice like staying in the forest as some has speculated.

Things should end well for Earth, with tragedies of a more personal nature facing the rest of the cast. And a random scene I've thought about is Mitsuzane killing or otherwise getting Kaito taken out of the game, but not before Kaito deals some critical blow to his ego or plans. But at this point it's pretty exciting that just about anything could happen. There could even be a late game-changer in store.
