Should Ultraman Zero get his own series?

It did feature Kamen Rider doing a jump off of Ultraman's arm and driving his bike through a kaijin's chest, though. That scene was a great gift to mankind.

But that was no fun. It's fun to watch the defense teams be pretty near useless and watch Ultraman save their asses!

The thing with Tsuburaya, is that unlike Toei, they USUALLY put a lot more effort into their shows, and as far as Ultraman goes. Yes, we don't get a new show every year like we do with KR and SS, but WHEN we get one, they are usually very good.
Sometimes it feels like Toei just wants to spit out all they can, in order for Bandai to sell toys, and then everything that is called "overall quality in story writing" is put on lowest priority

I have heard very little complains of any of the newer Ultra series, and I'd rather have them air a new show every 3rd or 5th year that has good quality writing and new ideas, rather than having a show every year that mainly focus on spitting out toys left and right.

God forbid that Toei ever gets the rights to Ultraman.

Yeah, franchise fatigue is a recurring problem with the Toei shows. Both KR and Super Sentai have seasons in recent memory that felt pretty phoned-in, like it was the year everyone just wanted to take a break.

I can't look at any recent Ultra TV show and go, "Well, that was kind of a meh idea, wasn't it?" They're all very distinct and doing different things, there's nothing that feels like complete filler.

(The DVD series kinda do, but they're fanservice add-ons, so that's par for the course.)

i say go for it im all up for a ultraman zero series because basically no affense to ultragalaxy fans but ultragalaxy puts me to sleep and i would really enjoy to see the silver giant return once again

I agree with you, Black Arc. But even more so, I agree with what Scissors is saying in that they just churn out a new series every year without regard for quality. I am by no means a fan of SS. I think KR does change it up sometimes, which I like. I loved MMPR, but I hate how formulaic it was after that.

You know the defense teams in the various Ultraman series? Well, make them usefu
- Which is probably the only thing they got right in Ultra Galaxy~~ I mean, they ended up bringing in an Ultraman stand-in for the second season, right?

you mean Reimon? that's Rei's (the man in my avatar) true form. also he was seen briefly in the first season.
