Should sentai have a male pink ranger?

Another Purple and another Orange would be great.

Bronze like I said. And a Scot wears a kilt and there's nothing wrong with that. Many dress uniforms for men have 'skirts'. I don't see the issue.
 
I'd say gender politics aside, I just don't think the color pink works as well on the male form as it does on a female. However, a bit more variety with regards to what positions female heroes have on the team and what their hero-colors are would be good all around. Including of course, changing things up now and again with a female Red.

Save pink for a female character whom that might best fit rather than having it be a lock that if there are two females on a 5 member team they only get pink and yellow. Throw white and purple into the mix more often for the 4th and 5th. Those two colors are a bit more versatile and IMO could be applied to male or female heroes more easily.
 

A Changeman-esque color scheme would be nice.

Alternatively, a male yellow with a female pink and another female of another color would be a nice change.

What Toei really needs to do is introduce a new set of colors for it's team. Rather than doing the same colors over and over again.
 
What about bringing back some of the older character types that don't get used so much any more? The hot blooded big eater male Yellow (Yellow Owl, both Ki Rangers.) Blue as the young and inexperienced one on the team (Blue Mask, Blue Swallow, GaoBlue) instead of the stoic tough guy. Most Pink Ranger types will work equally well as a White

Maybe we could have this kind of team dynamic in a near future:

Red - Female, cheery and perseverant
Blue - Male, youngest, kind-hearted yet inexperienced
Yellow - Male, pretty much like Momotaros except a lot more gluttonous
Green - Female, motherly type (Blue's older sister perhaps?)
White - Male, stoic and no-nonense, self-proclaimed leader

After doing a list of color patterns used in Sentai so far, I found out that, in five-person teams, the only "other two colors" combinations that wasn't used yet (green, pink, black and white) is green+white.
