Best episode so far. I guess there's a big difference when Amemiya is doing it over Inoue doing it.

The interactions between the four were just so great. Gan...I don't know how to feel about him, because I love his actor, but I'm not sold on his character yet. And his Hikaribitto form is rather bulky, I'm not a big fan of that.

I did like that he ultimately won the fight, though.

Shou's human scenes were the opposite of Rurika's. She was all sexy but acted like a total clown. It's weird seeing a half-naked woman doing the "act all stupid then kneel down and apologize when caught" bit. And I liked those scenes much more.

And his Hikaribitto form is rather bulky, I'm not a big fan of that.

Lol, that's a big reason why I couldn't stop laughing over the ED scenes

I like that they made him the fast one though. Just turning the archetypes on it's head for no real reason.

Also the gun user. Looking at the opening, it looked like he was wielding a mace, but it was actually a really bulky gun that he can also use bash people on the head.

Honestly loving this episode. I like how Gan, given all his seriousness, has a love and flair for theatrics. Like announcing his arrival multiple times, saying "Absolute Justice!" and "I've landed!" for no real reason. It makes him believable as a sort of a camwhore. Really, all the Hikaribito had been interesting, colorful characters.

The scene at the beginning was not just funny but also strangely sexy, especially given how playful Shou is being, yet is entirely serious about jumping Gou's bone. I also loved how the other two reacted with "Just get on with it!" and "Give in to your instincts".

The picture show was cute but also a bit disturbing given the style of the drawing. I assuming that was all Amemiya. That guy always had a way to stimulate my imagination and also, haunt my nightmares.

Inoue wrote it, but it was Amemiya's first time directing since the premiere episode.

Anyway, I think I'm done with this show. The first episode seemed OK enough, though nothing special, but every episode since has been hard to get through. I'd say more, but I don't want to piss off Jacky. :laugh:

Really? I was under the impression Amemiya was directing all of them, and this was the first one he wrote, primarily because there was no weird **** with the secretary and there was what amounted to an actual plot.

OHHH man, I'm late to the party! but that's because my laptop was sent for repair. anyways, after not being so impressed by the previous two episodes, this episode was particularly fun! I thought Gan was only going to eliminate any Magi in sight, but he's actually like that annoying disciplinary teacher in school! :laugh: it's also fun to see the other Hikaribito wondering what does what inside the house like with that mosquito net (they actually still use this stuff?!) scene. :anime:

PS: nice 4th wall breaking at the beginning, Hitomi! :laugh:
