Ika Girl's birthday was cute, from her imagining of what she thought was going on, to failing to blow out the candles, to the fireworks. The third segment was...something else. Chizuru's crazy, Sanae's crazy, and compared to them, Ika Girl doesn't stand a chance. Though I'm sure it's someone's fetish somewhere.

im thinking i might try this anime. the art looks nice. can anyone tell me what other anime uses this same art style? i swear i seen another anime with the same art but cant remember which

I think "My Little Sister Can't Be This Cute" or Sora no Otoshimono/Forte" has the same art work as this.

you could say that about any anime though. i know for sure there is another anime that uses the same exact art style as ika musume. like i said before, i just dont remember which..

maybe i will never know. i tried checking what other animes the art director was part of and anything related to art for that anime but nothing comes up that helps me remember what the anime was

I really like this show. It's not like its got some epic story or anything but it's just very entertaining. Ika Musume is really cute and it's funny watching her in all these random situations.
