Sherlock Holmes First Poster

I really don't know too much about the original novels, all the experience I have with Holmes is from some of the more recent ones that have been aired on Mystery! but I think this movie looks good in it's own way. So I'm really looking forward to it.

It looks like an interesting, exciting spin on the franchise, I'm just worried that they'll take it in a silly, ridiculous direction like League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Wild Wild West, or Shanghai Knights. Can't expect it to be exactly like the books, but I hope it doesn't dissolve into some dumb supernatural subplot filled with dick jokes.
