September 11th, 2001-2009

I remember 9/11 like it was yesterday. I was 10, getting ready for school and my dad turns on the tv to CNN. And in front of me on the TV screen a plane crashes through the world trade center. I was....speechless. I mean, I couldn't believe that this was happening you know. :disappoin And this was also the day my relatives from the Philippines moved to California.

R.I.P. to the people who died:patriotic:

It really was a sad day. Thank god none of my friends and family were at the World Trade Center at that time.

I almost wasn't able to get home from school because of traffic and many bridges and lanes to the City were closed. My brother had to get me before the bus would even arrive.

I was only in fourth grade at the time and had no clue what had happened. Now I feel...bad.

NEVER FORGET.

My condolences goes out to those affected on that fateful day.........a few of my friends actually had family members and friends die on that exact day as well (I use to live in Long Island........about an hour or so away from downtown Manhattan).

:patriotic:

never forget those that lost their lives and those that gave up their lives so others could have a second chance :patriotic:

I remember being sick to stomach that day and about to vomit in algebra but then the tv came on and the compassion people had on the screen made me forget about my ailment (sp?).
