Sentai vs. Kamen Rider

Since Faiz, I've been drawn more to Kamen Rider than the Sentai shows. Don't get me wrong. I love me a giant robot just as much as the next henshin justice geek. But I love the continual story lines of the new Rider series.

Generally speaking, Kamen Rider. I like Sentai but I think it hasn't been done well in a while, but when it's good, it's really good.

Huh.... yeah, I'm sorry to say, but I don't see myself ever giving Abaranger a fair shake. It's humor put me off waaaaay too much. I did see things that were intriguing, but I don't see myself turning back.

Super Sentai vs Kamen Rider...

To decide which is better is really hard. To me they both seem to be good and bad in their own ways.

And seeing that Kamen Rider seems to be getting more votes than Sentai, perhaps some of y'all might wanna tell us what Kamen Rider had that Super Sentai doesn't.

Abaranger=Faiz (both are my first completed series each)

No I havn't seen Blade yet, or give it a fair chance. But for now. Deka.

Magi is better than Hibiki.

I like both Bouken and Kabuto. But I like Kabuto better.

So far, it seems even to me.

Abaranger is one of my favorites of the post-2000 Sentai, I thought it was done really well and has a lot to offer for all kinds of different fans. Other than that and chunks of Hurricanger, I haven't really-really liked a Sentai show since like, Ohranger.

They're both heroic and cool in their own ways unique to themselves.There are pros and cons to both and there are good and bad entires from both.

For me, under the most ideal circumstances, it'd would be that you could get your ensamble hero team coolness from sentai, and your kinda lone dark hero (or hero in a dark world or dark circumstances) coolness from Kamen Rider and then your hero of hope and light from Ultraman.
