seeing super sentai without getting the merchandise

has anyone had a problem watching supersentai shows without buying the merchandise? because i think the merchandise is the show.

No, I practice will power. I will never fund these shows.

It's not that hard to not buy the toys from a series. Even if it's a series I like. Especially if the toys aren't as good as their TV counterpart. Like this year, I like the Go-Onger suits, but the vinyl figures aren't very good looking to me.

Meh, quite frankly there too expensive for me plus, I don't have a credit card. I'll never pay over 100 dollars JUST for one toy

I regretted buying Boukenger's merchandises. I was really crazy about that series until a certain time. :disappoin

About the only Super Sentai thing I ever bought (that wasn't for someone else) were the Wafer Chocolates with the cards, and like one guide book. So it's never been an issue for me.

Now Kamen Rider, on the other hand... :laugh:

No problem whatsoever, if you're talking about toys. I've bought some DVDs of the show and the 30th anniversery book. Basically, I buy the DVDs because veoh isn't exactly high def (or TV def). However, I don't need the merchandise to enjoy the show.

It's not likely that anyone has a problem buying the merchandise. Some would not even bother buying them.
