Then the responsibilities of his clan would fall under his grandparents, or someone else who acted as the head of the family.

Name: Gou Ichijou
Age: 18
Designation: ShinkenGold
Appearance:
Bio: Though a particularly handsome young man attending high school in the city of Tokyo, Gou's name is one that never gets mentioned in the gossip grapevine the female students tend to pick from. An average student all around, Gou is not one to talk or stand out, usually preferring to leave school right after classes than attending any extracurricular activities like sports or arts clubs. He also doesn't score high on any of the test, which only serves to add to his "blandness", according to some of her female classmates. While most guys would take this as an insult, Gou could care less about his lack of attractiveness in the eyes of the opposite sex, instead choosing to do his own thing. While overall he seemed like a boring person, Gou held one secret that made him anything but: he is a descendant of the original ShinkenGold, Ichijo Heishiro. None would ever think of making a connection between the cool-mannered samurai dubbed "hero among heroes", and the seemingly average Gou.
As a child, Gou passed up the opportunity to play with the other children in order to train in the way of the sword, in accordance with the directive of the Ichijo clan. Being the only child of Heishiro's grandson, Gou was also expected to learn archery, the art of calligraphy, and making sushi. Though resentful about not being able to play with the other children, Gou obediently did his best to uphold his Family's honor, and dutifully undertook the rigors of training for the various arts expected of a descendant of Heishiro.
Over time, Gou grew up from an obedient young boy, to a young man aware of his family's rich history. However, despite that, Gou still would not have a clue as to what his true destiny would be, nor the reason behind his dutiful training. He would only learn about it shortly after the sacred tea ceremony, where his father would explain to him how the "manly samurai" was once the mighty ShinkenGold, a master of the sword and the Sushi knife. Though awestruck at what he heard, Gou did not show it, as he knew that Heishiro's very identity as a Shinkenger was the family's secret, as well as its crowning glory. Receiving the SushiChanger and the Sushi Disk in an impromptu ceremony, Gou vowed to continue to uphold the name and the honor of the Ichijo family.
Much like at school, Gou is a man of few words in combat, instead choosing to let his Sakanamaru do the talking. Never one to back down from a fight, he would also give it his best to defeat an enemy, no matter how ferocious his enemies may be. And on a final note, like the other four Shinkenger, Gou was also raised to despise the other four, due to the incident involving Lord Tomone. As such, he would let the other Shinkenger know not to get in the way with his Sakanamaru or his fists, rather than with words.
Sure, but Blue Has to be a guy.
