[Anime] Saint Seiya Omega - Talk Up!

I guess it's not a complete confirmation though, but usually the main staff is the one handling first episodes, so it'd be odd if they had a secondary group handling the first episode of the second season.

But episode 51 will be handled entirely by the main staff, so they would need to cover two episodes in a row (three if we count the writer Reiko Yoshida, who also wrote 50), and that would be really unusual.

Although, Morio Hatano only directed two episodes himself (1 and 51) while Reiko Yoshida wrote 13 episodes, so it is not like they're irreplaceable...what i really doubt is Yoshihiko Umakoshi being changed by Yoshitaka Yashima, who's by far the worst animation director of the series. It wouldn't make sense.

Looks like a disaster.

1) steel saints
2) no umakoshi
3) badly designed cloths
4) new writers
5) haruto and ryuho still being alive

I dunno, I think you're being a little pessimistic. I love the new armor designs, and I've always liked the Steel Saint designs so maybe this is the chance to see one with decent writing. (and anyone who worked on One Piece Z is cool in my book)

I absolutely disagree. These Cloths actually LOOK like Cloths, unlike the spandex of season 1. I'm still not trusting season 2, but holy **** I'm in love with the new Cloths already. They should've been like this from the very beginning.

Also, you linked to Eden on Subaru, might want to change that. Or not. I hate Subaru already and he hasn't even appeared yet. His design is ugly, he's using a Steel Cloth, something that simply should not be, and his character already reeks of Marty Stu, getting forced into a team like that.

I like those new designs too. They look more like traditional clothes.

Anyway, good news: the new chief animation director/designer isn't the awful Yoshitaka, but Keiichi Ichikawa instead. He only made one episode so far (46), but it looked really good. He replaced Shingo Araki as character designer in Ring ni Kakero, and his art style is incredibly reminiscent of the original series, as seen in episode 46. It's no wonder the clothes reverted like that.
