The cast list for ep45 has a character named Misha, voiced by Naomi Shindo (Cagalli from SEED), the theory among fans is that she was Sonia's mother and Ludwig's first wife.

I think someone suggested that she may have a piece of the meteor within her and thats how she could talk to stars and seal Koga's darkness.

I wouldn't get my hopes up. The announcement is almost definitely for Digimon World Re: Digitize Decode.

If SSO is being replaced, then i guess it's not by another series. It seems like Toei is giving up the timeslot.
