90% of the content in the series can be understood without prior knowledge of the original series.

However, about 10% of it is nods to old fans of the series. Some of it is explained to the new viewers, but some not. Still, they are mere "Easter-eggs" that don't take away from the plot.


Episode 28 is a recap/clip-show episode. You could watch it and see that to see if the series interests you. If any of the scenes in it catches your attention. I'll tell you which episode that scene is if you want to see it fully.

It's not bad, but really, the TV ver. was better. It's like they couldn't really decide for a style for the full version...
