[Anime] Saint Seiya Omega - Talk Up!

Episode 5 was better than I expected (granted I had low expectations).
-I like that we got to see more of Souma's backstory.
-Love that this father was the Southern Cross Saint. A lot of fans will be disappointed that it wasn't Ban, but I liked it better this way.
-Souma's Flame Desperado looked a lot better this time.
-Omega had its first "go on and leave me behind" moment. I found it ironically great that Kouga would have none of that and went back.
-Eden is the number one student in the Palaestra, he's so good he doesn't even have to wear the uniform

The episode does beg one question though... Where the hell is Wolf Haruto?!

Episode 5 was a step down from last week IMO.
I just didn't care about the whole trial thing.
On top of that, there seemed to be no real challenge since they didn't drag it on for another episode.
At least the tournament is finally going to start.

Omega’s episode 5 received a rating of 2.1%. Not as good as the first three ratings, but a lot better than last week’s.

Hopefully, people would get more into it now that the Saint Fight starts.

I'm glad the trial didn't last more than one episode, it gives me hope this show won't struggle too much with properly pacing itself.

Mixed feelings about today's episode.
-Out of all the action scenes, the fight between Kouga and the Compass Saint has been my least favorite.
-Did we really needed another explanation about the the elemental cosmos.
-I wish we would have gotten at least a glimpse of Souma's fight.

However, there was still some good on the episode.
-So far, I'm completely sold on Eden's character. By the end of the episode I could just picture Phoenix Ikki sitting on a volcano somewhere and nodding in approval of the guys that replaced him in the series
-Glad to see Kouga finally winning a battle.
-Also, like it that they are starting to build up Ionia's character.

All in all, I liked the previous episode a bit better, but I did have a lot more expectations for this one, so my judgment could be a bit askew.

Hoping for a good ep7, specially since it seems to cover two fights, but at the very least it will have the Pegasus RyuSei Ken

Didn't think that the tournament would be this boring.
This episode really didn't do any good in preventing me from dropping this show :/
At least it seems that the show is finally picking up next week.

Omega's episode 6 somehow managed to cling to the 2.1% rating.

Hopefully, this episode's problems won't deter people from watching 7 who seems a lot more interesting, mostly because it has a high probability of flashbacks to the original series :anime:

If Omega is like the original you can bet your butt that SOMETHING will interupt that tournament.

Found this oneline, don't know if it's true but it matches up pretty well (except for the episode numbers) with series breakdown that surfaced sometime ago.
