Saban's Plans for Gokaiger?

Where's your bases? The 6 episodes out of what? 30 something or more eps? Yah the 6 episodes were similar but it's waaaay too early in the season to say that PR Samurai is a straight up copy! . . .

. . .that's just plain ignorance right there . . .

The producers have basically confirmed it.

Oh well there yah go! I myself try to watch and enjoy this open mindfully, and not rant about how similar or how shinkenger's ep was more superior because of blah blah blah . . .

. . . those kindah conversations takes out the fun of any show. That ain't the reason why I'm still a fan of this show

I'd take this with a huge grain of salt, at best; after all, the time between the current production and the "Gokaiger adaptation" could be quite large and much could change between then.

Plus it specifically says "back when Gokai had just been provisionally announced" and "theorized Gokaiger was going to be like Decade", and we all know how well attempting to jump the gun on assuming the themes/plot of a Sentai prior to it's formal announcement (from it's very early production stages) has worked out, such as the clash of ideas between "In Space" (perceiving it to be "space-themed") and "Megaranger" (actually "video game/digital device-themed", the space ships being an ancillary aspect) and later "Time Force" (hoping for it to have tons of time-travel akin to Doctor Who [this was even seen in very early promotional material for Time Force]) and "Timeranger" proper (while a "theme," the setting stayed predominantly in the present-day/urban areas rather than having "lots of time-hopping").

To sum up, this was one staff member, whose name was apparently not specified, and his, or her, wild guess based on the limited material at hand, possibly provided second hand at that, and not really their overarching plans for the Power Rangers incarnation or anything to really gleam from as to their opinion's on the show(s) or their respective potentials.

1. The writers and producers made clear that is what they are doing

2. anyone with half a brain that has seen shinkenger AND this show so far both, can see samurai is a copy.

I don't know. To me it seems like a bad idea. If they sticked with the Zyu suits and onwards it would be fine, but it really seems weird to me that it will be like "The yellow ranger changes into White Wild Force Ranger. And the others change into... Rangers that we have never seen before"

And how on Earth are they going to be able to pass the Goranger and JAKQ suits as being "new"?
It would be the same as introducing the suit from the first live Batman show and call it "new"

If they do it as Decade-esque then it could actually work quite well. They could just have it be where they meet different incarnations of the Power Rangers. They could travel through time to different eras to meet the different teams. By doing that they could have GoRanger be like 1900's or something >_>

1. I wasn't even aware of that knowledge. So you gottah excuse me for that.

2. Excuse me? anyone with half a brain? you got to be rude about this? That wasn't necessary at all . . . :eyebrow:

. . . you know what? Forget it! With a person like you, it ain't even worth it . . . :redface2:
