And then there's the Alien Rangers as they are basically the perfect concept for past rangers Pre Zyu. Just have them from other planets/times and it will be fine. And by my limited guess, Gokai can easily be a "Forever Ranger" season with all those teams in it and a highly bankable one at that. with all the merchandise.
Sure Samurai is a "copy" of the source , but none of those kids have seen Shinkenger or know that it's Japanese for the matter. If they enjoy it and give it great ratings , then isn't it good for us who want the show to continue and get more exposure/popularity? It might not be an ideal season, but it's just a warming up year much like the Godzilla 1984 film. While time wasn't on the production's side the show is a pretty good season and far better than Jungle Fury /OO/MF combined as it just sticks to its guns and is consistent. I hope they just keep it a straight Shinkenger adaptation with their own twists and not deride it with anything stupid and or drastically change the course of the story like they did for Lost Galaxy. I did not like the last 10 episodes where they were going against the Gingaman foot soldiers as they did not fit with the season .

Better way to me is treat it like Decade... Different Universes,world,etc... Then the series after it make it a reboot of Power Rangers or different era... Like how Kamen Rider did it show..
